Multiscale Mechanics of Soft Solids

We study soft condensed matter at the crossover between physics, chemical physics and biophysics. Our research is focused on complex fluids such as gels and foams. We study their structure and their mechanical properties with the aim of identifying local processes at the origin of macroscopic behaviours. Our approach is multiscale and involves experimental techniques like rheology, light scattering, microscopy or numerical simulations.
