Image Caption : Spin coherence and manipulation of impurities in different semiconductor based materials. A single carrier trapped by individual donors or acceptors in semiconductors is a promising qubit for it combines the advantages of semiconductor and atomic systems. The goal of our project is to study the decoherence mechanisms operating in the system and the possible schemes of manipulation of a single spin-qubit and entanglement of two spin qubits (The spin qubit illustration - Bloch sphere - is taken from Chem. Soc. Rev., 2018, 47, 501).
